The health of our children, families and staff is our priority. 

       

Little Duckling Clubhouse takes COVID precaution very serious. We know this is a scary time and we must take care of our health even more. As we all know the guidance has changed over the past few month's of 2020. The centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), public health officials of the State of California and the City of San Francisco has changed their guidance and has become more strict with their guidance of mandatory cleaning and sanitation.

We are fully committed to monitoring announcements about any such changes daily, and to modifying our protocols and practices on a timely basis to ensure that they remain in conformance with the most current guidance our public health officials provide.

Social Distancing

Caregivers are the only adults who are allowed to come into the daycare. Parents/guardian are not allowed to come into the daycare. 

​

During drop-off and pick-up, parents/guardian must stand 6 feet away from other parents/guaridan. 

Face covering and sanitation

As we all know utilizing mask has been one of daly life wear. Our staff wears mask during the day at daycare . We sanitize all parents hands when pick up time comes along. Parents have to wear mask during drop-off and pick-up time.

Children are not required to wear mask

We will sanitize parents/guardain hands during pick up before child is received to parents/guardian

Our caregivers

Our caregivers are required to wear mask during arrive of parents/guardian. Caregivers will be utilizing mask around the children. 

​

All staff/caregivers are required to take a COVID-19 test every 2 weeks. This information of the caregivers results will be inform to all parents/guardian. 

Daycare cleaning procedure

Our caregivers make sure all day to keep the area clean. When its children nap time, caregivers make sure to disinfect and sanitize all of the toys and play area.

*All of our products have been EPA approved.

We have someone come in every 2 weeks to deep disinfect our daycare.

We make sure that all of our kids are healthy when the come into daycare. The children take off their shoes first thing when they come into the daycare. 

 

We wash the children hands before breakfast, lunch, snacks.

The children temperature along with our staff temperature are checked first thing in the morning.

If child is feeling sick, we recommend parents/guardian to keep child home to prevent any spread. 

Does you child have any of these symptoms?

​

​

  • Fever  100.4 degree or over

  • Sore throat 

  • Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain

  • New onset of several headache, especially with fever

  • New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing (for students with chronic allergic/astmatic ought, a change in their cough from basrline) 

If child gets tested, they can return after:

  • A negative COVID-19 test AND

  • 24hr with no fever, without taking medicines to lower fever, like acetaminophen

   (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)

  • Symptoms have improved. The synths do not have to be completely better.

  • 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared
